Andy was out at a property in West Knoyle recently for a bit of a different job – trimming some really impressive yew hedges shaped almost like castle turrets. Not your average hedge cut, this one needed a steady hand and a good eye to keep the shape right.

Jobs like this take a bit more care than a standard trim. With shaping this precise, there’s no room for guesswork – every cut needs to follow the existing line to keep the pattern looking sharp and even all the way along.

Great example of what a well maintained yew hedge can look like when it’s had the right care and attention over the years.
