Latest Gardening Project: Garden Restoration in Pen Selwood, Somerset
Last week, Andy visited a property in the picturesque village of Pen Selwood, Somerset, to tackle a garden that had sadly been left in a neglected state. The space was overgrown and in need of some serious TLC, especially the patio area, which had become almost unrecognisable under a layer of weeds, dirt, and debris.
Upon arrival, it was clear that the garden had great potential—it just needed a helping hand to bring it back to life. Andy began by thoroughly clearing the patio, removing all the overgrowth and sweeping away years of built-up leaves and moss. Once cleared, the transformation truly began with a full pressure wash to restore the stonework to its original colour and texture.
The result? A fresh, clean patio that’s now ready for summer use—perfect for relaxing or entertaining guests once again.
